Maybe.
Apparently a game animator called Craig Peck has listed the Wii version of Goldeneye on his CV. Hmmmm......

I'd love to see it on the VC, but I'm finding it hard not to be cynical about this.

I want!!! But, for me the key question is, Will Microsoft consent to Rare releasing a game on the Wii? I can't see that happening. But, I'd love to be utterly and completely wrong. Besides, strange things happen, Sonic on a Nintendo console and recently Metal Gear on Xbox. Fingers crossed but I won't hold my breath.

IGN wrote:A new James Bond title called "GoldenEye 2010" for the Nintendo Wii.
Activision CEO Mike Griffith confirmed the company was creating a new James Bond title, but did not provide further details.
It's unlikely this title is a remake or "high-def" version of the classic Nintendo 64 shooter, as developer Rare recently stated the idea of bringing the game to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network were "long past the stage where an agreement was on the cards." But as Rare later noted, "stranger things have happened."
If true, this means Activision is pinning its hopes on the "GoldenEye" brand to draw interest in this upcoming Bond title. In 2005, Electronic Arts published GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, a multiplatform release, but the title was met with little fanfare and received lackluster review scores across the board.
Eurocom has become one of the UK's biggest studios, employing hundreds of developers. The company picked up key ex-Rare staff during an exodus shortly after Microsoft acquired the former Nintendo second-party. More recently, Eurocom hired a big chunk of ex-Free Radical personnel after the firm, best known for the TimeSplitters franchise, shut its doors.
