It does look good and if money were no object I'd be at the front of the queue. But, why a limited run and will a limited amount of black accessories, wiimotes, nunchucks, and motion plus be available too? I'm also wondering just how limited they mean by limited and whether or not it will be a future collectors item.

The Classic Controller Pro is a bit different, the control sticks are spaced further apart, there's an extra 2 shoulder buttons, the cable comes out of the top again rather than the bottom and it has controller grip handles on both sides..

..to compare the two..

The top one being the Classic Controller, the bottom one being a Playstation Dualshock knockoff :P

I think the term Limited Edition no longer has the meaning it once did, so I'm sure there will be loads about.

I like the black Wii, but can't decide on the accessories.
Damn!

Couple of things..
Are my game saves tied to the machine? or the SD card?
Will I need to make a new profile for Mario Kart on the new machine?

You'll need a new profile for every game that has online play - you can't copy the save games to the SD card.

Before you can transfer the save games over to the new wii from the SD card you need to start the game first and create a save file before you overwrite your transferred data.

New MKWii file, data, everything I'm afraid.

My mrs wants a 'black' Wii motion plus sports island jobby. I'm sure it's so she can make 'black is bigger' jokes...
