I've wangled it so that the Gameov3r forum dwellers have a chance to fire some questions to the game developers behind this weeks XBLA release Rocker Riot.
Peter De Jong, the CEO of Codeglue, has kindly offered some of his time to answer questions about his games, his company, his sense of humour, life as a dev, future plans or anything you can think of really. Nothing too rude or he might not answer
What Peter doesn't know is that it's Gameov3r that will be asking the questions on our behalf. If you haven't tried RR yet I would recommend that you do. I've posted a little bit about the game HERE. Whether you have played it or not this is a chance for anyone to pose a question about game dev in general, other systems, has he got any jobs going, or anything else you can thing of.
We're going to try and set this up quite soon so if you could post up some q's asap that'd be great.
Codeglue WEBSITE and their GAMES
CODEGLUE wrote:Codeglue is a Dutch game development studio that specializes in pick-up-and-play arcade games for mobile, handheld devices, and emerging console platforms. Our studio develops premium licensed and original home grown games with devotion towards playability, multiplayer functionality, and driving communities.
Founded in 2000, Codeglue honed the craft of addictive game play in the mobile market, where limited resources and screen space required developers to focus on the fundamentals of game design and feel. While we stay true to our mobile roots and continue to develop for that market, Codeglue is now a Xbox 360, Playstation3, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS approved developer bringing our craftsmanship to these popular platforms.
Our uniquely comprised management and development teams ensure that fun gameplay and brilliant technical engineering are not mutually exclusive. Codeglue’s portfolio includes the high quality conversion of Worms World Party (Nokia N-Gage); well-known franchise mobile games like Monkeyball, Lemmings, and GoWaku!; and an original intellectual property, called Rocket Riot, in development and bound for XBLA.
