hillys heroes conduit recruiting thread!

Postby hillyjo on Sun Jul 12, 2009 2:43 pm

looks like theres quite alot of interest from the old enemy over at chalk :) so thought i'd better get the troops ready!

is tuesday nights 8:30 still good for everyone? if not let me now whens good! most of the old chalk soldiers seem to have given up on the wii which is a shame but theres still some of the old veterans willing to play!

tuesday clashes with MTB ing .. .. .. .. but I should be around for a few of them (let me hole up somewhere with a sniper rifle and I'll try to take the Chalk down :D ) .. .. .. .. unless there's anyone who can actually play the game to take my place

Given that I've actually been playing the wii a lot more recently, I have persuaded Mrs to let me buy this, especially as I got a water pistol game that she enjoys :D

However, my list of uncompleted games is still quite adequate to keep me going (SMG, MKWII, MSC, MOHH2, CODWAW to name a couple straight of my head). I would rather have games on another night - Wed or Thurs is now best for me, as Fri - Tue the pub is busy enough to need me there 15+ hours a day (I look damn good in chef whites I must admit :D )

Reminds me hilly - when are you next popping down?

arhg sorry captain :( any other night before it's official?

just been having at little chat with benny and he seems to think theres no way of picking your own teams on the game (the computer picks sides randomly)? if so that would be no fun :( anyone now if you can or not?

You can arrange it whichever night suits you best hilly .. .. .. remember not everyone plays MKWii .. .. .. .. TBH my work schedule means that whatever night you choose I frequently won't be there (unless the games are played at midnight).

I am waiting for my Wiispeak to arrive, only paid £14 for it :D

Hilly, I am up for any night really as long as I am not working an evening shift. So I am happy with what ever is decided.

Count me in Hilly :) I'll make as many of them as I can.

Wed/Thurs should ok for me. I like to join in with Mario Kart on a Thursday, when I manage to get time to, but I'm sure I could fit The Conduit in somewhere.

NB. I'm not very good at this. I have tried connecting a mouse and keyboard and also a 360 pad to my Wii but it's no use. ;)

I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive I bought it off ebay on Sat so hopefully it will be here by tomorrow.

Thursday nights are bad for me, I'm often out on a Thurs. and if I'm not then.....it's MK night......hmmmm. During August I might be around more on a Thurs. but I can't make next week.

Any other night is ok for me but not too late, 8.00 or 8.30 is ok.

If next Thurs. is the only night the majority can make feel free to go ahead without me, I'm lagging behind you with the learning how to play anway at the mo so I might not win much until I've had a good run around with it.
